Egg Mode is Bean Boom's signature take on classic minesweeper. Instead of just racing the clock, every cell you reveal earns points — and the faster and smarter you play, the higher your score climbs. It's a minesweeper game with a scoring system built for players who love chasing high scores.
Points in Egg Mode come from four sources that stack together:
Every safe cell you uncover earns base points. Clear a large empty region in one click and every cell counts.
Reveal cells in quick succession to build a combo. Each consecutive reveal within 3 seconds increases your multiplier — up to 3x in normal play. Milestone combos flash on screen: Nice (5), Great (10), Amazing (15), and FEVER (20).
This is where the name Bean Boom comes from. Correctly flag a mine and it doesn't just sit there — it detonates, blasting away the safe cells around it. Blasted mines chain into further explosions, and every cell caught in the chain-boom scores bonus points. One well-placed flag can clear half the board.
Reach a 20-combo and FEVER activates: your multiplier cap rises to 4x and every blast gets a wider explosion radius. FEVER is the key to record-breaking scores — keep the combo alive while it lasts.
Egg Mode has its own score leaderboards for every difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard), ranked by total score rather than completion time:
